Update 3/9/2025

Greetings fellow readers!

Last week I predicted that the coming would would be even busier than the previous. In that, I had been correct. Not only that, however, I failed to see my health drastically decline for a few days. I am feeling much better now, thankfully, but for several days breathing was difficult and any amount of talking and moving would send a flurry of black dots over my eyes. I thought maybe it was Covid, and it may still have been, but as soon as it came, it vanished. So I am now almost completely better (with a tiny cough). So that won't impede my progress next week. But work is still crazy busy, so that definitely will.

Name: Reforged.

Last week, I averaged about 499 words a day. This week, I wrote 3,378 words (in two chapters), averaging around 482 words a day. To be honest, this is more than I thought would have happened. The work schedule and illness dropped some of my days' wordcounts to the single digits. Looks like the days I was fine made up for it.

Again, that's why it's good to write every day without a specific goal in how many words you get done. Whether you get a thousand or ten, those are words that wouldn't have been on the page if you hadn't written.

I won't make another goal for myself this week. I will, however, abandon my goal of getting this book finished by the end of April. Early March through the end of April is the busiest time of my life, career-wise. So I'll take away that pressure and enjoy the art of writing without any self-imposed deadlines.

Secret Project

No progress. On hiatus. Assume from now on that, unless I state otherwise, I'm not working on this. Too much other stuff to do at the moment. It's too bad, because I like working on it, but other things must take priority.

In any case, that's the update for this week. The new CLANN scenes dropping this week are going to be real good. We're at the halfway point this week, where things begin to start heating up! I hope you enjoy them and I will see you all for next week's update!
